Chiara Fung

Chiara Fung is no stranger to the hospitality industry. With a degree in hospitality from Vancouver Community College, Chiara is passionate about providing guests with unique and elevated dining experiences.

Chiara’s mixology skills have been honed at Grain Tasting Lounge at the Hyatt Regency and Notch 8 at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver before beginning at The Westin Bayshore in 2016 at Seawall Bar & Grill, the hotel’s former restaurant and lounge. Chiara has also worked at Brown Forman, where she represented a myriad of brands like Jack Daniels, El Jimador, and Woodford Reserve. In 2018, Chiara’s True Lies original cocktail recipe earned her the winning title at Vancouver’s Stoli Key West Cocktail Classic before she moved on to Key West to compete.

Though she enjoys creating original recipes, Chiara’s favourite cocktail to concoct remains the classic Old Fashioned. Her aspiration is to start her own hostel and cocktail bar business in Nicaragua, where she can continue to provide exceptional experiences for locals and travelers alike; but for now, Chiara can be found crafting curated cocktails at H Tasting Lounge. Her favourite spot to imbibe is the Dead Rabbit in New York City.
