Giovanni Masucci joined Donnafugata's Hospitality Staff in early 2013. From August 2014 to 2017, he led the Hospitality department. Starting in 2017, he became the Brand Ambassador for the US and Far East. Since 2019, he's overseen VIP & Trade hospitality and supported the export back office since 2020. As a native English speaker with dual American and Italian citizenship, Giovanni was born in Naples, Italy, and earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Naples University in 2006 and a Master's in Marketing from Bocconi Milano University.
In 2012, he ventured into the wine industry in Tuscany, later joining Donnafugata in 2013. Initially working in hospitality, he assumed department leadership by August 2014, achieving remarkable results. He then transitioned to the Export department, contributing to team success.
Passionate about travel and the wine business, Giovanni brings extensive export expertise and shares the Rallo family's love for their winery and its iconic wines.
